I don't run on the damp sand, only in the dunes and have had no problems since I upgraded to an alloy spur gear carrier.

The bigfoot tyres in combination with the samba pipe is a great upgrade.
I have a marder race limited with elcon wishbones and uprights front and rear, front tuning cable brakes and the FG adjustable diff and alloy spur gear carrier as well as the tyres and samba.
Popping wheelies all the time would drive me nuts so I kept the 18/46 marder ratio. It makes for a wicked fast top end.
Have fun this weekend just go easy the first couple of tanks to run her in.

Yea, I was considering a 2speed with 18/46 1st and 20/44 2nd. This would give me more top end when running my on road slicks as well.
