Default Alloy lower wishbones

Just wondering if anyone has these and have you had any problems with them bending or having the threads strip?? Sometimes I stretch the plastci ball ends - no big deal changing them but I've had the turnbuckle pop out of the plastic rear arms a few times. If I get the Alloy rear arms will this stop?? I also have the Alloy rear uprights soI don't want to wreck them too since the cost $$ and I have the disc brakes on them too.

I've seem them on Marders but not too many on the Monsters.

I replaced the uppers and lowers with alloy. I left the plastic rod ends on for the cheap fix weak link. No more pulled out threads, broken upper arms or teeth ripped off the plastic spur due to the stock arms flexing and the upper link hitting the gear. They are worth every penny.

So replacing the rear LOWER arms will fix the problem right? Are they the FG ones or aftermarket ones. fg# 4473)The ballends are easy to fix but it's such a pain to change the arm since the front bolt is so close to the engine. Which ones did you use for the front set up??

I broke more uppers than lowers. I used all FG parts. I can't say if switching out the lowers alone will fix the problem because I changed all of it at the same time. IMO doing top and bottom would be best. As far as the front I use stock with no breakage yet.

Look at the Rear lower wishbones from Elcon.

Rock Solid, and much easier to adjust than the FG Wishbones.

Ok. also more expensive, I am going to upgrade to those when I get a bit of spare cash.

Thanks Guys,
I may just try the FG's first. Hopefully the distributor gets some soon. For now I'll use the plastic ones - still have 2 more spares to go through. The Elcon ones cost $$$$ and if something gets twisted or stripped then we have a problem. It depends how hard you bash them

I also find the monster wheels put more stress on them.
