In the thread "longer carb isolator/heatdam...who makes", drevil mentioned something similar. Here is a quote from the link in that thread:

Lengthens your intake tract and the textured 'rough' inner surface assists in proper fuel/air mixture for improved performance throughout the RPM range.

Who knows if it is a gimmic or if it really works...I wish I knew a few gopeders. Well, not really.

Though I don't have one, FG has a boost bottle in their catalogue that works on the same principle.

It's basically a boost bottle, and whether it works all depends on who you talk to. Some say it works, and adds mid range power, while others say they are garbage. There is a forumla you can use to make one of the proper size from plastic pipe. I've done so for a gas scooter a few years ago and noticed absolutely no difference in power. Maybe they work better on marders though as its much lighter and a difference in power will be more noticable.

here is a link to the knowledge base on "juice boxes"
to "see" a difference you would need a dyno print out. my experience with a resonator is they come on like gangbusters and reduce the linear effect on the throttle and the only way they will work with a tuned pipe would be to add a dump valve in the resonator at the rpm where the pipe came on. they show a greater increase on engines with a can style muffler

Well guys i do have a "Juice Box" installed on my MT. Dont have any dyno results to prove the difference, BUT ! ! !, I can say that there IS a difference between having it and not! For some reason I cant post pics, but I'll try again in a little while.

Is yours installed with a tuned pipe, a can exhaust, or the stock muffler? [sm=confused.gif] I just got an X-can and I have already been considering getting one of these, but I was not sure if it would make my air filter stick out too far.

Stock exhaust for now. Planning on picking up a pipe this weekend!
