MT-5 bodies?
Can you just put an MT-5 body on a Monster Beetle chassis are do you have to do modifications for it to fit properly? How much do the MT-5 bodies usually run?

RE: MT-5 bodies?
you cannot just interchange the body. The body mounts on the side are in a different position and the MT does not have the body mounts on the roll cage for the Monster Beetle Body.

RE: MT-5 bodies?
the MT body is the stated price above but then you have to add the plastic mounts(not included) to covert the towers over so you can mount the MT body.
My Quad body is the same way, you can buy the body for the same as the MT, but then you have to buy the plastic mounts used for body so you can mount the Quad on any 1/5 offroad scale Monster vehicle.... Thats why we sell the Quad kit including the tower mounts, no additional purchases required

You could also use one of those wallmart 1/6 bodies that alot of people use. i had to ditch my jetpro pipe so i didnt have to cut the body, but the pipe was too loud anyways for when i run mine.

RE: MT-5 bodies?
Overall they are actually pretty strong bodies. Don't get me wrong you can't really expect it to hold up to the same abuse a lexan body would but they aren't as flimsy as they seem.
That body looks great on there. I'm suprised how well it fits. It looks like it came that way.
BTW Those bodies are from a company called New Bright, and if you do a google search you should be able to find places that sell just the body by itself for $45. There are also other large bodys made my New Bright such as a Cadillac Escalade, and Ford F150 Lightning.

I've had my Hummer body on for about 4 months before it got trashed. Really strong, and they are cheap now. I have 2 black and 1 yellow, just in case I break one of them. They are a bargain compared to buying a shell and then buying paint, time, etc.
