Default Firehammer 48 spur gear fit FG MT?

Hi,

Does anyone know if a Duratrax Firehammer 48 tooth spur gear: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHTU9&P=ML is the same as a FG MT 48 tooth spur gear(FG #6052). According to Tower's site they look very much the same!

Any feedback would be appreciated?

Thanks

I have personally used a 48 tooth firehammer spur on my marder. The difference is the size of the pinnions. The spurs are the same.

Yes, the 48 tooth spur works for all vehicles, its the pinion gear that has the different diameter
hammer stock pininon/spur... with a MT pinion (wont work) a hammers pinion on a MT wont fit.... The hammer, FG, carson ect. use the same 48 tooth spur

So, just to get this correct so I don't order the wrong parts...I have a steel 16 tooth FG pinion and that will work with the Firehammer spur no problems?

Thanks so much for the pics and responses
