Default Will standard Marder wheels be ok?

I'm thinking of upgrading to either cable or hydraulic brakes on my Marder (standard back brake is usless ,unless i've got it setup wrong [] )but do i need alloy hubs and different wheels to do this, as i seem to remember reading somewhere that you do. Also ,if i do upgrade ,is there any preference to front or back first ,as i can only afford one set for now and i was thinking front because at least there is some kind of back brake even though its not much use.

Thanks for any advise.

Default RE: Will standard Marder wheels be ok?

Standard wheels are ok for the front. You will use longer axle shafts along with a second square drive to get the necessary clearence. On the rear you have to use the rims from a Leopard or Marder race.

Alloy hubs are recommended, but you can buy them when the plastic ones are down.

Upgrade the front first.
