For Sale: 1/5th Scale FG CLK GTR - Low Time
Must sell, another baby on the way means the RC room must be cleaned out. I will be selling a crumload of RC planes too.
1/5th Scale Mercedes CLK GTR. Gorgeous multi-stage scale metallic silver finish and other scale details including real mirrors, telemetry antennas, etc. Very, very low time, maybe 2 hours. PULL START Zenoah G23 23cc engine with factory straight plug racing head and Racing Walbro dual needle carb. Runs on standard pump gasoline. The car is huge - so huge the body is assembled from 4 pieces !! Long Wheelbase Solid aluminum chassis of about 5mm thickess - very beefy.
The car has been sitting on a table in the RC room for 5+ years. Never crashed, jumped, or trashed. This is a High Quality, German Engineered, Take It To The Next Level RC car. It was assembled, finished and ran for only 2 hours total by an adult, longtime RC builder/driver. You can easily get spares and MANY upgrades for this and other FG cars. You can also get lots of other body types. Many types of tires and wheels are also available.
Includes all parts for RTR action, including servos, dual conversion FM RX, Airtronics M8 TX, etc. A toolbox full of misc spare parts and tools will also be included. The car also includes some other effective hop up parts.
You only need to add gas/oil, and a receiver battery pack. I recommend a large D size 6v Rx pack, of 4000-5000 mah. After getting the engine started you will be ready to go.
Also included are a set of absolutley awesome Lucas Racing CNC disc brakes and all hardware - which have never been installed - probably valued at around $500 themselves. Made in the USA, So Cal.
This sale includes Airtronics M8 Tx with Factory Race Team ABS programming. The car has computerized Anti Lock Braking with programmable delay, pulse frequency, power, on time, etc. Everything else that affects the car handling is also programmable in the radio.
Also includes a MULTIPLEX JUMBO servo for steering, and a metal gear train servo for throttle/braking. You can easily add a 3rd servo for seperate brakes, and this is recomended with the disc brakes.
This car uses standard skateboard bearings, so you can easily find them - and use cheap ones or very high dollar rebuildable ones. It uses real belted radial rubber tires. It weighs around 20lbs and does 75+ MPH, so it is by no means a toy.
The tail lights were left clear for a future brake light project or could be painted. The roof air scoop has not yet been cut out. Headlights could also be added.
Over $5,000 invested. I will entertain all serious offers. This car will be sold at a steal, and there is only one.
