The Lexan 2mm body from Hobbyteck is the cheapest, and also toughest I believe. You need to do alot of cutting work though. But I guess at least if you find the official FG marder poly body too weak around the roof you can just remove the holes as needed on the thicker lexan body.

I believe the lexan body is made by FG so you should be able to get it right from http://www.molzermoweryracing.com/

EDIT: Although Krikke has a listing of what i think is an FG part number 6154 it doesn't come up on molzermowery's site when i do a search. You can always call them to find out if they have it though.

the lexan one is after market shell - fg do either the poly carb or the weaker white abs - i agree with mad max and opt for the clear lexan as there very strong and half the price but do require some cutting - the same site also does the mud marder shells that have pods built into the side for 81.euro

I just ordered the Mud Marder body from Hobbyteck. Does anyone have this?? If so how is it? I love the fact it's like a version of the Leopard since I use to have a couple of 1/8 buggies myself. I want a really think body for mine. I have the ABS one now after going through the MT and the MB body. This will be the first one I'll paint since the other 2 were used. Hope it's as hard as they say so it will last big time.
