Default Cable brake question.

How is the best way to adjuste the pads with the rotors?How tight/close can i have the pads to the rotors?

as long as they are not in constant contact when brake is off should be fine, i find the cable brakes very easy to maintain and adjust

I adjusted mine with a .005 feeler gauge between the break shoes and rotors. It works great.

I use a much less advanced "tool". I simply thought that I might adapt the trick when setting the mesh on my smaller scale cars btw. the pinion /spur, and I use the FG plastic parts bag in between the disc and the brake pads.

Seems to work every time.
