The wieght is 45 lbs, 46"L x 18 "W x 18"H... Its over sized for the postal service and UPS wanted $375 [:@] to Germany

I was thinking it will have to go by a boat 4-6 weeks

Do they ship from the USA or from the UK? Do you have a link?

Trying to ship this boat to a friend in Germany, it was only $150 shipping at the post office but the package was to big

I dont think it holds enough gas to make the trip by itself

Can't find pricing though..perhaps trade/contract only?

Package was from US to UK, don't see why not to other countries.

Called fed-x $374 economy........... i think i will try to fit it in a smaller box[>:] thanks for the help everyone

I was hoping to find a place that ships by boat as we dont care about the delivery time

Before 911 I could go directly to the airport and ship anywhere in the world for about $150 now you have to use a shipping agency and they definatley make their money.

I have had many 1/4 scale cars shiped from germany and the package is wider and taller than yours. It costs $80 for surface mail or $160 for air mail. But thats shipped from germany and their post office is DHL and once it gets here it goes into our overpaid union mail system.

yea this is kinda NUTS.....I got to make the overall girth 6 inches less so I get the post office price.
they add your length, double your width and double your height , add it up it got to total 112 or less is what I told

I cant seem to find a place to ship it by boat, they all have a minimum weight charge i tried 2-3 places they wanted $ 400-420

If you can get it down to 42" then the post office is best and cheapest. Try taking the hardware off. Sometimes if you get a small post office you can trick them into accepting it.

40".5 L X 15H "X 19"W hope it works

40 + 30+ 38 = 108..... I might be 1/2- inch over post office only excepts 108 inches total girth airmail overseas.
shipping by boat the post office allows a total of 79 inches total girth .

They are laughing at me in Germany because they can ship alot bigger items for alot less money than us 1/2 the cost

I can fly to Amsterdam round trip for less than it costs to ship my package by UPS, DHL or Fedx
