that's not going to stop it from tearing up almost everything in it's path.
BTW what does "truck/buggy" imply in the title of this thread?

Bit early yet, wholesale quantities would still be on the boats floating to various countries I expect. A few have been Airmailed to dealers for promotion/testing and some places are selling them drop shipped from China. As soon as my test/promotion model arrives (week or two) there will be pics and vids etc up on AusRc for ya.

RE: Smartechs new 4x4 truck/buggy
I too wanted the Titan after talking to one of the Hobby Store guys that I found that would carry them told me they have one and are not sure if they will carry them because they test the one they have and within minutes it was hard to crank, and they broke several dog bones, and other parts I think I will just wait to see more reviews.I also like the FG stadium but I just don't care for 2 wheel drive.I want a 4 wheel drive, 2 speed, and rev. that is not going to be 2 grand.

How about which will stay on it's wheels going around the corner?
I vote MCD in terms of durability, because Smartech isn't known for its' durability

Good luck getting reverse in a gasser.

Someone said that the Gladiator had reverse. And someone said that this Smartech 4x4 had reverse. Probably neither right?

I have not heard of reverse being available in any shipping gassers. I imagine the complexity of the transmissions would be very high and would be expensive to make with a sturdy design.
There are not many occasions running in the dirt where reverse would be helpful.
Now if I could get some spring-loaded plunger for the roof of the buggy to flip it back over on its wheels I'd be the first in line!

The guys on Monster Jam put them into reverse all of the time.
I sure don't have any ideas on how to make a good reversing transmission for our gassers, but it would be sweet to have, especially when I jump and land face to face with a tree.[sm=lol.gif]
