Ouch sorry to hear that. if you knew a extremely good welder maybe they could tack wel a small washer to the hole to help strethen it bit... just an idea.

the reason for the thread was to see if it was a common probblem with them [8D]

nice fix hope my jp pipe wouldnt crack....(havent used my truck much lately)
.
But with my jp pipe i have to cut the support mount in half to mount if right. (not forceing it in with the screw.or not forceing the pipe in place.)
ps. support mount = metal tube.
