Default Fuel left in Baja Buggy? Drain it??

I know that when I use to run Nitro buggies I would always drain the tank and lines after each run. However, is that required with the HPI Baja buggy? Or can you just leave the fuel in the tank/lines until the next time you drive it. (for me that can be a week or two in between drives)

Thanks.

Leave it as long as you need to. Just shake it up before you run again to make sure the premix is mixed. I leave mine for months.

Leaving fuel in the tank makes the tank turn a yellow colour and the fuel will eventually eat away at the tank over time. Also even on an empty tank it is good to leave the cap off as it also prevents the tank from going that yellow colour.

It's best to leave the fuel in, and start the car weekly. This ensures that the carb's rubber diaphragm doesn't dry out and crack.

Although saying that, It's been weeks between me doing that, with no problems.

gas is not as corrosive as nitro which attracts moisture due to it's nature, actually, leaving full tank is better than half or less especially on metal tank...

Me also leave in for months I use the HOMEDEPOT synthetic oil that has the fuel stabilizer pre mixed in the oil. It starts right up 3 months later with no problems.

If TGN came up with a pipe sock I would have to try it.
The tank cover is a nice idea but I have ran the tank dry and didnt know why it was running strange until I went to do a investigation the next day and found I was out of gas.
I felt like a first day newby..

Actually with the nitro cars the main ingredient is methenol, and that will eat the aluminum engine block and it also attracts moisture. Gas is easier on the engines. But even at the end of the season you should run it dry too and put some marvely mystery oil through it. I alwasy did that for weed eathgers and leaf blowers. Of course during the summer they got used weekly.

Ditto, I too have left gas in my MT for a period of time and as always, she started on the second pull and ran flawlessly ! ! !

If you start it regularly then don't drain the tank. For long term storage, drain it and run the carb dry. Fuel that sits in the carb will leave deposits which can foul your jetting.

You can use them all year, all seasons.
They like snow..
And sand.
Now a new look to my buggy.
