Help with cable disc brakes
Today i purchased a front cable disc brake kit for the MT and i cant find a way to hook them up to the servo horn. I was half way through the installation and had trouble so i figure i look onlin and see if the part number was right, nope wrong! (6250/1) he sold me a kit for the Marder. Do you guy think it'll still fit my truck or is there a different rod to connect to the servo. I cant even rig it up so im stumped!! Part number for the MT (6250/3) i dont know if theres a difference or not. someone please help!

The brakes are on the truck and mounted.. i just cant seem to mount the linkage to the servo horn,, and space is very limited. its next to the giant steering servo.

The only major difference on the 6250/1 and 6250/3 is the length of the bowden cable holders on the brake mount. There is no difference in the part or the way they mount to the servo. It sounds more like you are missing a part. You can buy the longer bowden cable holders separately.

RE: Help with cable disc brakes
I have disc brakes on my FGMT and the calipers are mounted in FRONT of the steering knuckles.I see in the diagram you posted, they are mounted in the back.Is the mounting instructions for Alloy steering knuckles different from the stock plastic ??

Yes for the alloy hubs they go on the rear, also out of the way for full steering radius..not buy much though.. this is another item i have to pick up... these things are money pits! lol
Bigger you did an awsome job on your set up man.. i dont have a 3rd servo so im be using the throttle/rear brake servo. Im sure they'll be fuctional shortly i just need the materials, you've gave me a wonderful idea

RE: Help with cable disc brakes
You can buy the FG alloy uprights that keeps the brake in front like your stock ones. RC NUTS has them. type ALLOY UPRIGHTS in the search box and them hit go it should take you to them...
