they sale like crazy so i guess they are worth it. i would take mine over anything else .i like the idea of being able to pick whatever you want one it engine wise .so people dont care for the price ,and cry because it does not hve a engine .oh well dont buy it.i find them to be very tough truck you have to see it to belive it .they are very heavy duty .people buy a fg and put all this alloy on it to make it stronger .and end up with a 4000 doller truck at least with the mcd you dont need all that alloy . to make it stronger .it just one tough truck , i had a few problems with mine but nothing that would make me get rid of it and put it down.6.5 hp and a locked diff is not a good idea .now 7hp and a open diff makes me

Please don't start bad mouthing FG with false comments, now that you have bought an MCD. You do not need to alloy the truck to make it strong. Nor do you need to spend $4000. It is a very strong truck in stock form. Going off your comments then, the FG MT is actually stronger than your MCD if we are going off the problems that you have encountered. You can put a 6HP+ motor on an FG and do not require to change diffs and nor does it snap drive shafts and drive cups etc.
I don't want to start a flame war but Bryan there is no need to start making the above comments just to make your MCD sound better or justify your purchase of one. You went to MCD coz it had 4wd and thats it. Other than that it has nothing else that sets it apart from the FG MT. It comes with cheaper non chrome wheels. no engine and you can say that not having an engine is a plus, but spending that amount of dollars you would think they could include a Zenoah 26cc otherwise ,what are you paying so much money for then -four non chrome wheels, a empty radio tray and front and rear wishbones. There is no room to add aftermarket accessories such as hydraulic brakes for instance and it doesn't even have the room to properly mount a a standard size battery and you know this coz yours is cable tied to your shock tower.

caad5...where do you see him bashing fg in his post? I sure don't see it and I'm sure nobody else does. You're trolling dude and looking for ANOTHER reason to start a flame thread. You FG diehards need to grow up some.

He is stating that FG is a weak truck and needs $4000 of alloy spent on it to make it strong. That is not true. That is the comment I was referring to that is bad mouthing the FG.

No he said this "people buy a fg and put all this alloy on it to make it stronger .and end up with a 4000 doller truck at least with the mcd you dont need all that alloy . to make it stronger "

It doesn't say FG is weak he said people put all the alloy on it to make it stronger. Which actually he is right....read the thread for the guy who just bought a FG MT and read all the FG owners suggestions to him about upgrades, if it was strong why did they suggest so many upgrades?

then in your past words why did you buy 2 fg mts??,,,if one was crap why buy a second.....and people buy alloy simply because they can

badz dont worry about it he can pick on me if he wants it really does not bother me .all i was commenting on was the price of the mcd and no engine chioce some people dont care for that.so i compared a all alloy fg price wise with the mcd lets say 4g for the alloy stuff ,and 2400.00 for a mcd rtr .i had some problems with mine i have nothing to hide but unlike your fg , my truck weight 41#s and had a locked diff in the rear ,i got the truck this way to test out the locked diff.and my combo failed me .a loked rear diff is not a good idea on a truck this size .and with a high out put motor so i broke some suff no big deal.but he is the best part all my stuff was replaced for free.cool aint it.oh snap dog i dont have crome wheels like i give a crap .what i do have is wheels and tires that are 8 and a half inches tall and 5 and a half inches wide.yea mannley tires lol.and sorry cadd my battery is strasped to my front bulk head ,so what the fg is stapped the same way flat in front of the tank .mosy of the pics i see they are held with tie wraps also.and another thing cadd i dont have to justify a damm thing to you are anyone else , i got a mcd because i wanted a 4x4 and something diffrent then the fg that every one else had .you are forgeting i had a fg mt and i loved the hell out of it.but compared to my mcd it well pal it just wont touch it for durability .sorry to piss in your cherrios .if you dont own one then stick a sock in it .i had a fg HAD and i have a mcd so yes i can compare the two .i have nothing against fg hell i just ordered another one from troy .quit being a big baby .daddy he talked bad about my toy truc ,hes a bad man .yes i am and if you fell lucky let tie um up buddy and see who wins .lol we know how that will end how bout if i make it 2 wheel drive .seems fair .have a good day .and sorry i hurt your feeliings i was not bashing your god ole mighy fg that you cherish so much .but you my friend did some bashing but its all good and i cant spell . still friend right . oh i all most forgot i dont need after maket brakes unlike you fg guys do ,i lock all 4 with stock brakes .he he .yea i know its hard to swallow ,that your beloved fg ,is secound.let the big boys aside were taking over and you cant stop the beast they call the MCD.[X(]but its ok cadd dont [sm=52_52.gif] i still luv ya buddy its all clean fun ,i know you dont mean that harsh words you said ,it only a hobby .dont let it go to your head.
