Need help starting a Big Grizzly
I purchased a used Big Grizzly and I'm having trouble getting it to start. When I first got the truck it started up on the 2nd pull. I drove it for about 5 minutes and then turned it off. Later that night I tried to start it again, but no luck. I think I may have flooded it, so I left the plug out all day yesterday to let the motor dry out. I tried to start it last night. I turned on the choke and gave it 2 or 3 pulls, then turned the choke off and tried several times to start it without any luck. I checked the plug and it's getting spark. It's also got fuel. I guess I could change the plug, but other than that I'm at a loss.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check if the spark goes through the plug. I just had a problem with the electrode not making contact inside the plug. Take the plug out let it hang next to a metal surface, and give it a couple pulls....see if you have spark at the business end of the plug. Good luck!

RE: Need help starting a Big Grizzly
I've checked and the plug is getting spark. I was told by the prior owner not to prime the engine because it could flood the carb. The first and only time I got it to start I didn't prime the engine with fuel. I may try a new plug. Don't know what else to try. I've already added new fuel and cleaned the air filter.
I'm having flash backs to the days when I use to run Nitro cars.....not easy to start..

Prime the carb..
Push the bulb until there is gas in the bulb and the fuel lines.
Put the choke pointed down and pull until it "POPS" should take no more than 4 pulls.
Put the choke in the lateral position(point it forward.)
Pull and it will start after no more than 3 or 4 pulls at most.
This is very simple and I have ZERO problems with mine.
Do not choke or prime after you have just ran it.
