Default anyone with 1/4 scale info

I'm looking for a motor for my 1/4 truck. It has a 42cc in it now, I would like to stick with that size or bigger, I have seen some with 50cc.

Where would I look for such a motor?
Is there anyone out there that specializes in small motor rebuilds?

Thanks

Are you talking about the New Era with the Sachs motor?

Yes it is a New Era, the motor though is not a Sachs. It says U42, with a picture of an airplane going through the U. I'm assuming its an airplane motor.

A US42 cc motor only had 3hp.[:@] Going bigger in the cc range won't solve your problem. Those motors are low RPM.[:@] THe only other motor that was avaiable was a 55 cc Makita motor with 5.5 hp. But then again low RMP.[:@] Everyone here uses Zenoah style motors.
4+ hp.

WEIGHT is the biggest killer in speed!!!!!

YES, I agree 100%. I was going to say the same thing. PLUS, airplane engines are known for low RPMs. I'd look for a modded Zenoah at DDM if you want some real speed and HP.

I have a Zenoah G260RC1 lying around. Are there any Stroker or Big Bore kits for this motor?
Could I do anything to it to get some decent power out of it? Its stock at the moment. This is the motor out of my FG MT.

What motor would be the better choice for my ST?

Thanks guys
