No one has sent me a tracking #.... UPS doesn't get to my neighborhood till late... I know the parts from Italy are coming DHL and I rarely see them around here, but I think they do deliver on Saturdays....

Got the shocks sitting on my kitchen counter... Emptied them and cleaned them out... trying to find a good oil to use out of what I have... Tries AE 30 and it feels too soft... Think I'll try some 60 and see... I have everything from 20-80 in AE silicone oil....

I traded 2 of my old nitro cars for a Marder buggy and I'm in the process of turning into an on-road. I'm trying not to spend much $, and it shouldn't be too bad because aside from the chassis, they actually share about 90% of the same parts. Just have to change the upper arms, a couple of braces, rear lower bulkhead mount and shock springs. That'll get it close.

If they don't come I'll probably skip this weekend... 10th scale is kind of fun but I'm pretty much coming out to run 5th scale...

[Sunday isn't looking good here... It's almost 5 and I haven't gotten neither the XRC parts nor the Technokit parts.... Shocks are still apart on my kitchen counter, going to try AE 60 weight oil in them....

See y'all next week.. No parts and I'm pretty annoyed... I'm sure having the 4th in the middle of the week didn't help me get parts any quicker... I'll be seeing Tommy who ran American Hobbies on Monday, says he still has Technokit parts, gotta see what he has left....

Guess i'll be rolling solo.[] Hey, ask him if he's still got the track he used to use. I'd be interested in taking it off his hands. Or better yet, see if he wants to get involved again.

Someone mentioned that the track pieces we are using were what's left of his, don't really know... I'll find out more when I talk to him... I still think we need to get rid of the PVC and use strictly old fire hose, paint it all yellow and use those tire halves for the corners... I impaled my NTC3 on one of the PVC pieces and snapped the front body mounts off last week...

Probably kind of good I don't have my parts, pulled my back out and have had a hot pack attached to me all day...

You didn't miss much today. Still had fun, but no 5th scales showed. Just me and Scott, and he had clutch problems most of the day. 2 guys showed up around noon to see what was going on and they had their 5th scales with them but they were't running. They were missing radio equipment. They were Technokits, all aluminum. Very impressive! Hope your back feels better and you get your parts. How'd you pull your back out?

Oh, the guys names were Barry and George. They said they knew Tommy.

I just looked at the pictures, Doug usually posts much more and there were cars lined up almost all the way to the south curb last week....

More Technokits... It's a wonderful thing!!!!

I emailed Tommy, he's pulling out parts and I'm going to see... My car may finally be all aluminum and CF by the end of the week... hahahaha.... There's part of me that wants to strip all the anodizing off the parts and polish them... I was going to do it a few winters ago but never did it...

I still have no idea how I did my back... Probably partially due to that extra 30 pounds I'm carrying in my middle... I was working on the carb on my Chevelle friday night... Felt ok, got in the wifes car and all of a sudden my lower back was killing me... got worse saturday...

If we could get 6 5th scales it would be excellent.... I don't know if we could run more without making the track area larger....

Yeah. 5 or 6 would be max. Good luck with your parts. All aluminum and CF would be nice, not much to worry about. As long as you stay away from curbs, your chances of breaking something hitting another car are pretty slim. Well, good luck. Let me know how you make out.
