Default Major first Baja upgrades

Im thinking of getting a baja, I like its look and it seems to be the best 1/5 for me, Now what upgrades are the best to do with as little money as possible??

Also what are the upgrades people choose to do later on????

And another one, How long fo the stock parts last???, I know it depends on what you do, but just generally speaking.

The baja lacks in power so the best upgrade would be a exhaust pipe. The cheapest one on the market would probably be a x-can which would give you lots of low end power. Another cheap upgrade would be to get some outerwears. The stock parts on a baja will last you a long time, It really depends on how you drive. Only thing you might wanna watch out for is the rear tires, they will wear out in only a few runs if you run your baja on asphalt.

One thing i will tell you and that is the X-Can is very loud but is a good value
for the money but i saw the new HPI pipe on E-Bay for $20.00 more at $99.99 and
is being sold by a reputable seller. [sm=thumbup.gif]

Remove the stinger and gut the stock can.. Cheapest Mod that will make a huge difference.

I have run both the X can and the HPI Pipe.. The X can has a great throaty sound but the HPI pipe seems to yield greater RPM

this sounds bad to somepeople but i want to make a custom exhaust extension......is this a ok idea, im planning on extended them and bringing them back around to hte sides so il have one exhaust pipe on each side.......I know people say it affects the back pressure and stuff but if i leave the X-can how it is and just make extensions will that be ok????
