Anyone have a suggestion for a maximum engine temp? Read this thread http://www.rctek.com/phpBB/viewtopic...ht=temperature , but I can't get mine anywhere near that.

As you already know (from listening to me all day) that I'm running in the 240's... I tried richening up the high speed needle today and couldn't get the temp down...
I really can't get a straight answer on temperature...

It's a ringed piston so temps aren't as critical as a nitro. Also where are you, and/or he taking the temps from?
That's one of the reasons that I got out of nitro.....all those tiny little adjustments that were so important to have a good running engine.
No more I say. Give me gas and let me play !!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I was just wondering. I still think that reading the plug is by far the best ( and easyest (sp)) way to check on the mixes, oil/fuel ratio, air/fuel ratio, ect.
There are so many articles on "reading plugs", just do a google search,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
