They're very good, as large scale shocks go. They may leak a tiny bit, but not overly much.

I would try the blue and silver with 4000 in the front 3000 in the rear

still trying to figure what buying over-priced springs does for leaks...but oh well shameless plug is a shameless plug right...

shock leaks, yep most large scales got leaky shocks..i've found running better grade oils than what the hobby shops sell is a big help not to mention 100 times cheaper.....my first step would be to get rid of the crap oil and use belray shock oils

One tip to help get prevent leaks is to use very thick silicon oil on the bottom o-rings. Try someting in the range of 80000 wt. Just a small amount around the o-rings should help seal the much thinner silicon oil in the shocks.

Do yall suppose if you flipped the shocks upside down it would help to keep the oil where it belongs????

As for shameless plug I think not. Sorry I should have explained it in detail for the super fast internet racers.

The stock springs and oil are to light for the weight of the truck. The springs allow the shocks to ride at the higher end of the shock body and bottom out very easy. This with to light of an oil leads the leaky shocks.

the titan does ride pretty low. i'm using all the spring clips and a few homemade ones.

some people reported them leaking inside the box brandnew.
