My Wife's RedCat!!
Hey all, I wanted to show off my wife's RedCat! This truck is awesome and I will have one soon too
We put on the TGN X-can to help push it along a little better. I also know Mark is making a pipe, can't wait for that.
The truck is under powered and the 3 gears are weak, we ran the truck at home for about 45 minutes, in the yard and on the track. It's awesome on the track, you can fly this thing like a nitro, those 4 huge tires will definitely change the trucks attitude while flying. Our track is hard clay and this thing Hooks UP!
But, sadly, it only made it 15 minutes in the sand at the Silver Lake Bash last weekend. I am not dissapointed about the gears, we knew they were a weak point, I'm dissapointed that we didn't have time to get spares. Won't happen again, and I hear Rob is having some steel gears made.
This truck certainly raised eye brows at Silver Lake though, just sitting on the stand it was impressive!
I didn't even mention how much my Wife likes this truck!! SHe has been wanting a truck for a long time and I've been waitingfor the proper truck to come out, this is it! She has really enjoyed this thing so far, including taking out the dogs waiding pool with it
I would like to thank Mark at TGN for the Cool X-Can and Rob at RamPage HopUps for the COOL truck!

I forgot to add, we installed Phatdad SHock shafts right away and it seems that Tom has stuck to his same high standards that he uses for his Baja products! The shocks performed flawless! Can't wait to see dog Bones from PhatDad for this!

Is there a chance you meant
Your wife MUST be really pleased with it?
The dog on the other hand looks like he (or) she is trying to get out of the photo LOL!!

The dog is a ham, he's not trying to go anywhere. He loves the camera.
AS far as any more referances, typos or anything else, I'd appreciate it stopping now. I'm not sure what is being implied in any way shape or form here, maybe nothing, but it might be best not go any further.

PhatDad Dogbones are off the design list. Just too dang long for the premium material he uses. MCD bones work well, so that will be our only option for a little while at least.

MCD gears work. Can you take a pic of both sides of the FS gears? The only problem is that MCD does not offer steel 25T gears. But, that will be solved in a few weeks. The folks running MCD plastic gears are having no more problems though. But I doubt they have tried it in sand.

RE: My Wife's RedCat!!
MCD work but only with MCD combinations due to shaft spacing.
You can contact Innovative Hobby, they have combination's available
25 tooth MCD gear
You are still going to need the MCD combination.
