RTR with the engine it has, I would agree. But I really do think that the chassis and drivetrain are very good. The shocks are absolutely outstanding. Basically, the RTR just needs a better engine, and it could hang at that price point. Only the redcat is cheaper as a 4x4 (I don't include the FS clones, they are not really competition for the Smartech, and besides they are copies of an existing design).

Absolutely it needs a locked centre diff. A 'real' differential should be an option. Not the other way around.

the redcat rampage is a copy of the mcd too and it also incorparates a few other vehicles parts.... because you can use MCD parts on the rampage and you can use some of the MCD parts on the FS too...I agree FS is kinda poopy but with some upgrades its a very good bashing machine

I have seen the Thunderbolt for sale on a couple websites they want like $1499 ($1425US) for it
