Default fg engine/chassis void

has anyone got any decent mods to prevent the small gap between the engine and the chassis from filling up with cut grass and crap.

Not me, but I have glued window screen over the little holes on the engine to keep crap out of it.

What do you suggest?

i have done a similar thing only using fine body repair mesh, but it sill collects in the void. I tried a sponge but that moved back into the layshaft gear and shredded. Maybe some shaped chicken wire may help i don't know - i do know it pi$$e$ me off having to clean it out.

This is what i've just finshed.

Covered up all motor voids with mesh, works great & still lets the motor breath really well.

yer thats already been done, it's large gap underneath that just fills up with cut grass, I have a couple of bit of sponge in there at the moment but have not had time to test, they are wedged in tight so should not move like the last one did.
