Default Tires and Gearing

I was looking at putting rampage monster truck tires on my baja 5b ss. Will those tires mount well on the stock rims with stock foams? If I put those rampage tires on, will I have to change gearing, and what gearing would you suggest?

I think there are adaptors out now to fit Rampage rims/tires on the Baja but I cant find the link at the moment. I also know you can buy FG adaptors to fit FG rims/tires and there are also adaptors out there to mount Proline 40 series rims/tires on the Baja.. DDM carries some of the adaptors

no problem....they will fit with those adapters..............ramtech-rc.com...thats were I saw them..............you may want to use either the stock gearing or even go with the super torque set..........DDM has them

good luck

Will stock gearing really be fine? if so, that would be great. As far as the tires go, I was wondering if I could buy JUST the tire, and mount it on a stock baja rim with the stock baja foam. I know ramtech sells the adapters and premounted tires, but I kind of want to steer clear of getting all sorts of adapters. I already have fg adapters, and was thinking of getting axle extenders. It's just more to keep track of.

yeah, I've checked out the ramtech site. I was wondering if I could take [link=http://www.ramtech-rc.com/product.sc?categoryId=6&productId=10]these[/link] tires and put them on stock baja rear rims and foams. I know that the description says that you need the adapters to run them on your baja, but you shouldn't need adapters if you are putting them on baja rims. Will those tires fit nicely on baja rims, or are they gonna be too big, too wide, or what?

And, am I going to run into any problems using stock gearing with monster truck tires?
