ur right the back end doesn't have any to protect the body just be careful when goin wheelie and jumping...forr hop up try getting shock tower, those shocks, air cleaner and pull start cover/ protector, then the rest wait until it breaks and change it. great trade...

Yes, probably going to keep it. What are the necessary hop ups. Traded 2500.00 of "work" for the truck. Not exactly a steal.

RE: new baja 5t
Take the stock radio out of it
Get a good radio and fail safe for the throttle if you don't want to spend the money on the PB stuff right away.
I have a brand new truck just sitting waiting for the spring.
Good luck with pipe choice there are a few good ones out there but the decision is tough.
1 other thing the front wheel modd
There is info on that in the 5b forum on this site or somebody may post it here fo ya.
Or you could do what alot of people do and just run it to see if you are going to like it.

Of course it is!Seems like people absolutely needs option parts/hop ups to run their cars, even before they have tried to run them stock,in fact it says "ready to run" on the box.

I ran my b stock for a week. It was very slugish on the bottom end. It got boring very quick. I wasn't really impressed with it for what I spent on it. With the pipe I am now happy and will be for a long time. Totally different rc. She screams!

RE: new baja 5t
AHH yes the old pipe question
That is an answer that i am still trying to find.
I have heard that the new truck is pretty snappy compared to the original 5B.
That is the issue I had with even buying on cause I am a 15+yr Nitro Fan and if you have ever run one you know they RIP!!!!
My LST is just awesome.
But I have both now
working on getting new bodies so I can have everything painted white to Match the 5T
i know I am an idiot like that

I just noticed that too. I hit all the places I know of, DDM, FG Supply, LSRC, TGN, and yes, they are all sold out like crazy.
The only place I can think of where you can buy an electric kill switch is on Fleabay.
Regardless, if you can get one, that is a very very nice feature to upgrade your 5T with.
