Can you guess what 1/5 model this is ? The Restoration Begins !
Can you guess what 1/5 model this is ? [sm=75_75.gif] I'll give you a hint it's very, very tough, it has a strong 2 speed transmission, it has a very powerful steering servo and this 1/5 scale was many years ahead of it's time. 
I'm restoring this 1/5 scale model to it's orginal specs. I have many RC projects going on at once so probably between spring and summer hopefully it'll be done. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Pics will be posted when done. [sm=wink_smile.gif]Neat anyways if you can guess what this futuristic 1/5 scale model is.

Yup your right ! It's a Yankee Predator off road buggy. It's amazing how well made this buggy is for it's age. The engine still starts and is buttery smooth.

It's from the late 70's and it cost then a little over $2500.00 . The quality of the materials being used in it is excellent. The motor is surprisely more smooth running than the new 1/5 motors I have.
