Get a big rotary type tool, get a cloth-like polishing wheel for it and go to town. Then tough up the smaller missed parts of the chassis with a dremel with polishing bits and polishing compound. You can polish the whole chassis without scrubbing until your knuckles fall off.

RE: ownslf polish baja parts
go to supermarket or hardware store to buy "AUTOSOL" cream polish, works well
if your pieces are very scratched or thick dirt need to polish off, can make it easier by using some fine 1000-2000grit sandpaper to sand it smooth first

I find that polishing with a dremel polishing kit (felt tip for Dremel and the red polishing compound) makes virtually anything very shiny.
Alternatively, I have heard of people using a dental polishing bit made of rubber and using jewelry grade polishing compound.
I gaurantee a demel with polishing bit and polishing compound will beat elbow grease and a rag any day!

I doubt they will, afterall, you are going for the polished alum look, so it is fitting that any part you get your hands on be de-annpdized and polished up.
And actually, I am becoming a bit anxious to see how your chrome-polished Baja will turn out, It is sure to come out looking great!

Check these guys out. They have everything you need. You need to use a rubbing compound BEFORE you polish. It will get rid of all the scratches and give you that mirror look.

That actually does not look bad at all! Polishing compound and a rotary tool with a polishing bit and you will really give them a mirror finish!
With all the parts you have polished up right now, I really want to see the chrome-toaster look your Baja will have! Good work
