Default single speed v/s 2 speed

trying to figure out something here.

lets say you have the same 2 trucks with same mods , but one with the 2 speed and 1 with single speed. and both are geared correctly for the track(drag racing only) which one would be faster and win?

would the 2 speed have more low and top, or if the single speed geared right get more low and top?

An engine has a power curve. You can move the curve back and forth compared to rpms by changing gearing. So with a single gear transmission, you can gear for strong low-end power, but it gives up topend. Or vice versa.

With a multi-gear transmission, you widen the curve (measured at the wheels) to include more top end as well as more low end.

A 3-speed will broaden that curve even more....widens the useful power range.

so going 2 speed will definetly get more speed in low on top end. so it would beat a single gear in winning the drag race righ?

Yes, providing the drag race is long enough that the momentary delay in acceleration during the shift is negligable, which should be the case.
