wow man that is sweet ...

lovely track, would you believe im actually thinking of making my own at the moment....

i have the land and all i would really need to do is tar it up and design it.

i am seriously thinking of doing it as these large scale cars are my top hobby now and there are all i do in my spare time lol

man imagine a largescale in that track.....would be fun trying to keep it on there with the size of it..

nice straights too on it..

i have a few tracks i can go to here too for compitition racing but it involves traveling a little and would be just two or three of us as its mostly koysho 1/8 th these lads run.

they are buggies but race them there anyway.

nice nitro car there too.

must upload my vids now.

VITAL UPDATE!!!

hello all well have i got news for everybody, but first i want to say a big thanks and a sorry to foxy for correcting his information about onroad/offroad engines well we both were right in a way lol foxy as you say all engines (zenoah/cy) are the same in terms of offroad/onroad fitament, the zenoah engine i have all it needed was a few bits swaped over from the solo and it will fit, like the metal engine mount at the left flywheel side as the zenoah has a place on the shrowd to put it on (again thanks foxy) and the clutch case needs to be taken from the solo as it has differnt mounting angle.

well my update is that i was off today and decided to take the o neills raceported 27.2mm stuffed/stroker engine out of my beetle as i have the cad 27 on the way for that next month and as i was off today i decided to put this unit in to the carson onroad.....lol MAN I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT THIS IS GOING TO BE LIKE!!! a 27.2 raceported engine in this could be crazy insane......it was mad in my beetle with the weight even.....lets see.

im at it now and should have it up and running shortly..everything is fitting perfectly.

i still have the brand new zenoah 23cc with f1 airbox on the way now early next week so i am going to shelf them for a while and see how this one goes first...i have a feeling it will be way too powerfull for this car,of course i will use the f1 airbox on either of them.

hey all so like i mentioned in the last update i have the 27.2 o neills raceported fitted now in this carson temporarly untill my new zenoah 23cc arrives next week,i ran the car yesterday with this engine and being honest it just is too powerfull low down, uncontrolable wheel spinning low down which is anoying coming out of a corner, and being honest top end seems to be a lot less rpm...

the 23cc revs higher because it is designed for touring cars in the first place, and with the smaller piston it actually revs higher due to low mass and diamater of the smaller piston.

but the 27.2 is designed for monster offroad models along with the 26cc standard zenoahs....and believe me it goes like stink low down and up to its high rpm.........

will be leaving this in car untill my new zenoah 23cc comes next week with its new f1 style airbox ..... CANT WAIT!!!

Good effort Steven, but I fixed them on his post now, so the thumbnails work as well.

The thing is that RCU script tag for URLs is not 'URL', it's 'link', so I just changed the 'URL's to 'link's, and now it's working properly.

hahah yeah man i kinda fear the thought of that alright man now in fairness.....so easy to hop them and wreck em,i always say good servos and radio always help big time with control over the car for a start.

the fg man i am really upgrading it for ages but is at its pinnacle now especially with the engine coming next month,it cost a lot of money man things did go well for me for a while at work and all before this quite time and only for that i wouldnt have the upgrades and work done on them now .....

the carson was a present from my girlfriend two months ago so there i was lucky also, lol i didnt even know she was getting it....

man i love that roll cage you made that is top notch work man......you should consider making them in bulk and suppling some model shop or something, they are really good......

ye must have had a lot of work in them.....

where did ye get the alloy?

Yeh, the alloy radio tray is a great hop up, eliminates flex and makes steering and braking both more responsive.

yes foxy i agree with you there man a good investment they do a nice job on the servo side of things.

NEW UPDATES!

well folks here are the pics of this NEW 23cc zenoah engine and f1 FILTER kit that arrived this morning and i have to say i love them both, the zenoah already feels a lot more responsive than the solo low down, even though im just breaking it in.

i have everything fitted (like a glove by the way) and in the break in process.all this new engine required from solo was clutch case and clutch/block.

here are the pics.

man i think this F1 FILTER LOOKS CLASS!!!

now to break it in and see how she goes...

cheers

WOW WOW !!!

thats all i can say here,i set off with it fully charged and full gallon of petrol today at two o clock (fin work early) and broke in the engine with two tanks, man this engine beats the solo hands down, has twice the bottom end power, and huge top end a lot more also i think than the solo...[:-]

the last tank i ran hard enough and still has loads more on the high speed needle, still a little rich...

LOVE IT!!

damm this engine is powerfull!!

the forced induction of the f1 style filter helps also i think.

will get vids up soon, let me know everybodys thoughts on the pics of the f1 filter.
