KM stock motor rebuild
Is there any thing else I need to rebuild the stock KM 23cc motor?
CY snap Ring set
CY/RC pin washer set
Zenoah / CY RC/ LH crankcase gasket
Zenoah RC engine bearing set
Oil Seal set
RC/CY pin Bearing
CY/RC Cylinder gasket
This is a parts list from Dave's Motors. My engine is running great, but I thought I would pick up a rebuild kit while I have the spare cash. Any input would be of great help. Thanks!

RE: KM stock motor rebuild
Honestly, if I were you, I would simply continue to run the engine until it dies. Then, buy a Zen or CY (preferrably 26cc, or more) and put that in as an engine upgrade. You will definitely feel the power difference (as well as the longevity and durability from the quality of these engines).
If you set on rebuilding this engine, I would suggest replacing the cylinder head and piston with a CY head and piston (I believe these engines are an exact clone of CY engines). Also, if you can rebuilt the lower end with CY bearings (or better aftermarket bearings) and even an upgrade crank, that would help make it just a bit more better.
For rebuilding instructions, watch these vids by Fast Eddie. As he goes along, he even tells you which parts you must or should replace during every rebuild (there are 9 vids). These are very extensive and very good rebuild vids. And these instructions are also generally good for any other 2stroke gasser RC engines or whatever displacements.

RE: KM stock motor rebuild
Thanks Savagejim, I have that video collection downloaded, great info. I'm going to agree with you, and take your advice. I was thinking that would be the better road to take, but I love to tinker! I will wait till this one goes, and then get the better engine. Thanks.

RE: KM stock motor rebuild
For not a whole lot more depending on what goes wrong with the KM engine you could buy a whole other and better engine. All so bigger with more HP.
One other thing many people over look is when working on any of these engines you really need to torque all the bolts to the recommend torque values. Those that have problems blowing base gaskets on the 2 bolt engine probably do not torque there bolts.

Easy now, he has been RC racing for many years, and even has a hand in motorcross dirtbikes (I think).
He didnt mean it that way at all, he is not trying to poke at you at all.
