I bought the same truck off ebay. Duratrax Firehammer MT parts will fit the trunk no problems. You can use FG parts but some are a little different. The spur gear and clutch pinion gear are a different number of tooth for the pair. I have put on the small fg aluminum engine mount. I have also used the aluminum front steering arms. You can use the FG spur gear and pinion if you also change the gear plate at the same time. The center to center postion of the shaft is diffenent on the FG one. Duratrax makes a better fuel tank that they just release for the firehammer MT. I put it in and it doesn't leak gas like the original ones.

I am still running a plastic spur gear carrier so I have a weak spot that will give without destroying the drive train. I picked up the metal spur gears from Daves DDM for the firehammer. I shows he doesn't have any in stock now. I have been running them for a while and they still look like new. They are CAT5 gears.
