On what, the HPI 5b? If you've got the money, a Multiplex Rhino, otherwise a Hitec 5475.

You put that servo on the steering of a 5b? It's a small scale servo though. Do they fit?

The OP definitely needs a large scale servo for the steering of an FG Baja. I maintain those two I mentioned are the best choices.

I too say get the Multiplez Digi servo. That is probably the best widely available large scale digital servo. I run the 5475 servos too, they are very reliable and function good too.

Probably the best servos are made by Tonegawa, but let me warn you, they are not cheap.

Going with a large scale servo is a must, even though the smaller servos actually produce more torque (even nearly 3 times as much torque in some cases).
Here is the reason why: the large scale servos have the gears and motor core that have more material to take the stresses of large scale steering gear. Even if you find a standard sized servo that produces 500in-ozf, the stress from a 6th or 5th scale RC that come up through the wheels, steering knuckle and hub, and through the steering linkages will apply direct forces to those poor tiny gears and motor.
