Raco Jackrabbit pic added
I tried for over an hour anf got on pic uploaded. RCU is not cooperating this evening.
I have a Jackrabbit that is just sitting in the corner. The body is gone and it needs a carb kit. You can put gas in the carb and it will fire, but I think the diaphram is shot and the screen is probably plugged solid. Of course the fuel lines are rotted and the tank stoppers are hard.
What are these things going for? It looks as if all of the suspension is there and in good shape. I will get some pics this weekend if anyone is interested.
Thanks
Jeff

When you get pics you can post a free ad in the marketplace section here on RCU

The jacrabbit is the least valuable "1/4" scale car built. They sell all over the board. I just purchased a mint one for $150 and a few weeks before that another mint one for $300 but thats not typical. Poor condition ones sell in the $100-$250 range.

Mine is not in poor condition, just missing the body and needs some maintenance. If somebody would give me 200 for it, it would be gone in a heartbeat. I will get some pictures this weekend.
I had thought about getting it running and actually using it, but I have enough projects with all of my planes/helos and my Mustang(Ford).

So would it be better to just part it out? Obviously it is not a rare car, so it might do more people good to just strip it and get those parts to the people that need them.
Out of curiosity, how fast did these things go? Mine has the Zenoah g-23 in it.

parting it out would get you a few more bucks. $100-$150 on the rear, $30-$60 for the rear arms, $50-$80 for the shocks. $50-$70 for the engine, $50-$80 for the rest.
They ran about 40mph.

Maybe I will do that then since shipping smaller pieces is much easier. Money isn't all that important, I just dont want to see the parts go to waste. Years of restoring muscle cars and such, you hate to throw away something that someone can use.
