Sorry man didn't mean to offend.your right they are a work of engineering art.being a mechanic i can appreciate the work and precision that goes into one . those cars are definitly not for the average RC guy.I would still like to find out more about then from a mechanics point of view

Just finished a update last night. I slightly changed the format to make updates easier. I also added some sweeeeet litterature for Raco.

A new line of cars will be sold on this site next summer. Not just your run of the mill 1/4 scale stuff either. Cars are in prototype right now!

The conley "427" is the best. Does anyone knoe of any other compainies that produce working V-8's.
I would like to know more of the technical stuff with the engines. A site a visted a little ago that i cant remeber what it was ran on glow plugs. Does Conley engines run on spark or glow plug.

glow, the viper ran on spark I believe. the distributor is in the alternator.

They are actually 1/4 scale. 4 in the series. wont say what they are quite yet but one will be a muscle car, one a sports car and 2 offroad. It will be some time before they are ready. They wont be cheap either. the muscle car will be in the 2k range.

i heard a rumour that traxxas is in the making of a new 1/5 scale off roader to. seems that the popularity is increasing lol

Do you have any thing from Qaurterscale Racing Specialist= QRS I think a guy by the name of jeff use to own QRS I got an old vhs video around here some where. It has jeff on it with a really nice 1/4th scale stadium/baja off road truck. Man it is the best that i every seen it has big & wide air filled tires in the back, and big narrow air filled tires in the front, also a sweet nissan body with the nissan red, white,& blue paint sceme and it's standing bold looking like the real thing.

Nothing on QRS. I have not recieved any info on his cars yet. It is really tough to get this kinda stuff. Harder then you would think! A lot of the old timers or original 1/4 scale guys dont like to talk about the days?!? Anyhow if you have anything I would be very interested.

All I have is a OLD VHS video (collector's edition:)) with 1/4th scale racing and products. OH WAIT A MINUTE NEWS FLASH THIS JUST CAME IN FROM MY PHOTO ALBUM:D

Did you see the picture of the truck but keep in mind this is not the truck that's on the video the truck that's on the video looks much better. And then he takes the body off and it made my eyeballs jump forward[:-]

By the way I sold my truck to a friend years ago he drove it three times then park it in the garage. He went back to airplanes for good. The last time I seen it the body still was not painted it's the same style body as the one in the picture. I'm sure I can buy it back:D
