I finally did it!! After a stint away from flying for over 5 years I took my modified Dynaflight Bobcat out to the slope and flew it. Boy was I nervous!! It was a little windy for my liking especially since it had been awhile but I braved it. The first few minutes where scary my hands wouldn,t stop shaking. But I soon settled down and got to trimming the Bobcat and it flew great. I did a few low passes and thought I should try to line up to land. I forgot how windy it was as I swooped around for a landing and it went waaay back behind me but I got it turned around and leveled off (I guess the old instinct kicked in cause I don't know how I did it)and I landed..whewww now I can breath again. That was it for the day just too windy for me to relax. Well thats it I just thought I would share this experience with you folks. I would like to here any experiences like this from others.

Hey bruford!
Nice to hear your story! I had a Bobcat we flew on a slope very nice airplane...this is mostly a thermal ship so it will fly on very little wind depending on the slope...You can always add a bit of balast for windier conditions...Send a pic if you can! I was there in NS a few years back beautiful place! Wish i had a gider back then....
It owuld've been nice t take a pic with the bras'dr lakes as a backround.
