Default Apache DLG C.G. problem

Hi guys, I have purchased the Apache DLG from nesail. After putting it together I discovered that I needed 65 grams (2.3 oz)of Wight to balance it according to their recommended C.G point (55-61) behind the leading edge, I did this balance at 61mm. I test fly it and it seems that it wont clime against 5-7 mile wind and while putting it against wind at the end it wont give me control on up elevator.
Can any one help me please?

Default RE: Apache DLG C.G. problem

Hi,
I have the Apache Dlg as well, and have found the CG point actually around 90 mm. The set up sheet says to put it between 56-61 mm, that is way too forward. Make sure you reduce your control throws as you move the CG back.Try moving it back to 70mm, then 80, then 85 and see what happens. I garauntee you will fall in love with it. I have thermalled this ship almost out of sight on days where the temperature barely hit 70
My 2 cents
