Comments about ACE Thermal Sniffer
Good Day All,
I'm interested in purchasing a Thermal Sniffer from ACE.
I'd like anyone who has used/experienced an ACE Thermal sniffer to reply with their comments/impressions.
I've done a google search for ACE Thermal sniffer, but nothing comes up. I get the impression that these particular units are no longer manufactured. Is this correct?
Does anyone know if the ACE Thermal sniffer is Total Energy Compensated?
How does this unit relate to the "Piccolario Talk" unit or the "Skymelody" unit presently manufactured in Germany.
Cheers,
Marcus.

The Ace Sniffler has been out of production for many years.
No it is not total energy compensated.
Mine had a lousy RF link quality. I heard that some were better than others, but most of the guys that I know who used them successfully spent a lot of time tweaking them.
The Picolario should be an order of magnitude better.
happy trails - Rob G
