If it bothers you, you can always make airplane noises as you fly.

Quiet means it's traveling through the air efficiently with little drag.

Is it rudder/elevator only?  Foam core?

Cox .049 power pod should fix that problem. Plus your ears will still be ringing after the engine shuts off.

Only if your eyes are closed while you are landing.

i heardmy 2mtr scratch build saturday as i messed up coming out of a thermal about 1,500 ft ,,we all heard it moments after it reappeared from the bottom of a cumolus cloud as the tail area fluttered,,it got louder as it got closer to the terafirma, couldnt turn it off, it was very loud as the vertical stab hit a tree limb a few hundred yards away from were westood, kind of like a 22lr round going off, then it didnt make a sound after that. kind of like yours i guess.

im familiar with the "swoosh" while slope soaring on the dunes at ft story, va with a 30+ mph north wind and so much ballast.,,it still amazes me howi never snapped wings in half out there. i would program the ailerons and vtail to work together and make some, fast, sharp, turns, and listen for the swoosh over the wind only feet away, the 60" winged planes must have been going 50-60+mph,, only problem was my eyes would water ,and of course asoft landing with an overly ballasted plane.

Count your blessings,
I hear mine all the time. If I listened I would be homeless and divorced.
"Don't take your wife to dinner now there are thermals out". "You could call in sick, its 78 degrees and not windy".
And now I have started hearing some of the other gliders...Its a sickness don't ya know
