Default 105 degrees

wow

Its hot out man! But when a new glider wants to be flown you have to grin and go. Boomers were EASY to find and sometimes almost violent. the lift sink border of one thermal pushed my buds into a dive. I had to brave the weather and maiden the new Radian. Built from pieces off the bay and from the hobby shop...
One of my buds was nice enough ( insane enough) to join me. 15 minute flights were easy enough. about 2 hours with shade and lots of water was all we could take. But man it was fun!

Hey, here in Iraq we hit 140 F (60 C) yesterday..nota tree in sight to tie a camel to....got to stick glue to the top of wings to keep a plane flying....

Looks like you got yourself a decent flying glider there - enjoy it.

Cheers

My brother has had two tours and I recall him saying that once the temperature went over 115, it didn't matter what the termometer said, it was about as hot as it was gonna be. 115, 120, 130, 140 F all felt exactly the same...unpleasant.
