Default minimoa prop for phenoix 742-2?

hello everyone..it seems the motor shaft sizes of gliders as a closely kept secret! I have googled like crazy to find a folding prop setup to replace the stocker..Which i have been able to discover is a 2.3mm An odd size that would seriosly limit my motor choices. I have a phenoix 742-2 well..its on the way in shipping but i want to get my hobbyking order in asap ! If anyone knows of a good folding prop setup that appects a more popular shaftsize help me out please. thanks

hi there from Toledo

Are you sure? Could it be 3.2 mm (0.125" or 1/8")? That would be a common transposition mistake and would make your search a whole bunch easier. If your info came from a foreign source, these kind of errors are rampant and quite confusing. Measure the shaft with a dial caliper or a micrometer and double check just to be sure even if it slows your ordering process by a few days.

ps: 0.093" or 3/32" equals 2.365 mm ... Hmmm. -rjf

hi yeah i am pretty sure..all the folding prop assemblies i find either don't list a size or are 2.3 ..while every single motor i look at has a 3.0 shaft... heres a question....will a 1000kv motor work for my plane? is it to low rpm?
