I have been working on a new type of soaring device i thought i would share with the community. I call it a WingBoard, the equivalent of wakeboarding behind an airplane. It consists of a towed flying wing with a fully articulated RC controlled rider strapped to the top. It is not capable of soaring off tow due to the low lift to drag ratio, however on tow it behaves much the same a glider on tow but with some added fun capabilities. The current model is 1/6th scale but I am working toward a 40% scale model to include more features such as parachutes and tow releases. I have included a video of the current version below. More info on the development can be found on the project website: http://www.wypaviation.com/wingboard.html. Let me know what you think!

Well, I can't say it stirs my juices at all. I can do more stuff with a control line model if I still flew control line.
As longsoar says it's clearly not soaring in any normal manner. But for the life of me I can't find a good fit for such a thing in any of the forums. So since it's not powered of itself I'll leave it here for folks to ponder and comment on.
If you want me to move it post to this thread or send me a PM.
