I am in need of a BOT wing kit, or at least wing parts like the ribs and major parts. Does anyone have a line on a vendor? My memory brings up a company called "White Wings", or something like that, but my Google searches have not found what I'm looking for. Can anyone assist? Thanks.....

Try Mark. He may sell the wing seperately or know where you can get a wing kit.

Good day Ed, The Skybench (he produces several versions) of his 'Bird' series of kits just kinda, sorta have the outline of the BOT, the two could be compared together as 'stand way, way off scale'. The outer panels of the wing are much longer in span then the inner of his kit vs. the org. The opposite is the case of the Skybench kit and I doubt the airfoils are anywhere near the same either tho I don't know for sure. I built a kit BOT a couple of years ago and I still may have useable airfoil plans to share . . . doubt it tho, but Il'l take a look.

I think Laser Arts Co. (Colorado Springs) has a set of laser cut wing ribs for the BOT. George Voss selling as Soaring Specialties in OK also sells a set of laser cut ribs for the BOT for about $25. Both are on the web using the Company Names given. Whyte Wings may have thrown you off a little on your google. He is in Havasu City, AZ or somewhere out there. Know he is still kitting and selling stuff like his Ruby 2M, light tail feathers, etc.., not sure what all he carries anymore.
Hope this helps

You can get a laser cut wing rib set for the BoT from George Voss. It is about $30 if I remember correctly.
His website is www.soaringspecialties.com
You can also get a wing rib set from LaserArts for the Bird of the Future. Wing design is by Tony Estep. This will require a fair amount of scratching for the CF parts and is a significantly different construction. This wing rib set is between $40 & $50 as I recall.

Greetigns All... an almost on topic question:
I've had a set of BOT plans for quite a while intending to build the Bird to 99" span.
Anybody else built this plane that size? How'd you like it?

I want to thank everyone for their help. I now feel confident about putting my BOT airborne again.
