Need help programing Flaps and elevator mix on Futaba 8CAP

I found the mixes and programs but whne I put the percentage , nothing happens.
How do I do this?

Right aileron must be on channel 1 and left aileron on channel 5 or 6. If you're plugging into channel 5 then go into the para menu and select AIL2 and select 5&6. This step is commonly missed and is essential if you're using a 5 channel receiver like the excellent Hitec 555.
Then click on: http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/faq-8u-q549.html for setting your flap to elevator mix.
Try also: http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/faq-8u-q105.html which is even more comprehensive.
I assume you want to use the flapperons for TE control for landing. If that's true, consider using them as spoilerons, you'll reserve much more control down near the ground where you truly need it and you'll not need to worry about the stalls that aren't uncommon with using flaps for landing. You'll be using down elevator compensation.
