Sailaire servo recommendation?
Can anyone here recommend a servo size (torque rating) for a 12-foot Sailaire? Weight about 8.5 lb, electric power. Thanks!

Suman,
I use standard JR 539 in my Comet which is almost 15 feet. One on each flap and huge rudder and elevator and they work fine.

We've flown Sailaires with standard servos for 30 years, no problems. The Sailaire doesn't tax the servos at all because it flys so slow.

I still have some old Futaba S-28's in my Sailaire. Been in there 15+ years with no issues. Only thing thats changed was the connectors on the servos to the new style.
