Default Setup help

Hi,

Can anyone offer a solution to this on going problem!

I have this setup currently for my easyglider (RR and glider version) - Hitec Optic 6 (with 35mhz module now if you read my previous post) , Electron 6 (35mhz), Hitec crystals and a 4.6v 700mah battery pack.

The Tx and Rx batteries are fully charged, i have tried many different combinations with the servo plugs, Negitive shift even though i have tried both, PPM (I think that is the setting name, but not QPCM). The servos are plugged in as follows :
1.Aileron
2.Elevator
3.Free (although i have tried battery)
4.Rudder
5.Aileron
6.Battery

The problem is that it doesnt work.

Any body offer any advice, I really would like to have it ready to go to france on thursday but at the moment its not [:@]

Cheers,

Matt

What is the problem.

You don't seem to mention one.

BTW, servo plugs can be inserted upside down. When they are, the servo does not respond. Same thing with the battery plug into the harness and the harness into the RX.

Sounds like you moved to 35 Mhz from sometihng else. Is the channel crystal in the receiver a 35 MHz crystal?

Hitec has both single and dual conversion receivers. The electron 6 is dual conversion. Did you buy a dual conversion crystal? It will behave as you describe if you have a single conversion crystal in a dual conversion receiver.

Hi, again!

Yeh i think they are dual convertion, but this is the only reason i can find! Unless the transmitter isnt working, which i believe it is.

Must have single con crystals...

My guess is that you have a single conversion receiver crystal.

Typically you can't damage anything by reversing the servo plugs as the hot wire is in the center. However you can plug the servos wires in backwards and ahve nothing happen.

Do you get ANY response at all when you attach the battery? If not, try turning the plugs around.
