Landing Skid
Does anyone remember the landing skid material shipped in Airtronics kits of the 70's and 80's? It was pretty neat stuff...grey in color, consistency similar to silicone caulk, about 3/8" wide with self adhesive backing. I'm scratch building an old Airtronics bird and want it to be as "original" as possible. Someone may know where some old Airtronics skids can be found...or I'll bet the material was originally made for some other purpose and can be sourced from there...I just don't have a clue at this point. HELP!

Remember it very well - Ace R/C also had a similar product they called GLIDER SUPER SKID - $1.50 in early '70s. It was a different color though - white. Appears to be double sided tape with a plastic material to cover it.
