FVK Sprite Thermik
Hi All
I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with the FVK Sprite Thermik? I have just ordered one after the success we have had with the FVK Relax and Optima in the 2 m range.
Would love to hear people experiences or tips on the model.
Regards
Andy

RE: FVK Sprite Thermik
I take it that no one on this site has had any experience with the FVK Sprite Thermik... In that case I will let everyone else know how it goes - I hate being the guinea pig.... although if you go on looks I think she will be just fine... Hurry up Mr Postman

Andy
Hey, theres a guy in our club that is flying one and from what I've seen it seems to fly very good( read I'm thinking about buying one )
he launches it off the winch for the most part full on and zooms it off at the top, seems to penetrate well and will move about the sky fast. I have not flown this plane but by watching it fly it seems to indicate lift farely well. I don't think that the gentelman that is flying it has the camber or reflex set up, you see the plane indicate lift but I haven't seen him do slow turns to gain elevation, but with that being said I have checked the flight times to be around 2 1/2 to almost 4 min with out trying.
Hope this helps.
Doug

RE: FVK Sprite Thermik
Hi Fox Flier
Thanks for the reply.
I have bought the ectro version and I plan to use the camber/ reflex... I cant wait to get it out amongst the thermals, I think its going to be a good al-rounder... I will let you know how the electric performs once I get some airtime....
Thanks again
Andy

Andy,
Yeah good luck with the electro version sounds like fun, ( no winch or high strat to set up ) let me know how she flies when you get going. Is the price correct , I went to the website and the price said 499 I thought it was more around the 700 dollar mark U.S. , is that about what you paid?
By looking @ the website it looks like this plane needs to be flown with reflex/ camber to get the most out of it.
Thanks
Doug

RE: FVK Sprite Thermik
Hey Doug
Its is 490 Euro by the time it hits your doorstep, Germany has 19% goods and services tax so it reduces some what. I think you could be right - I will keep you posted on the setup... One thing I do know is that I havent been disappointed with any of Jiri's (FVK's) models and I am trying really hard not to buy a backfire :-)
Regards
