I have tried to narrow down the selection of my first scale ship; HF Modell 3.2 DG 600 or the HF ASW 28 3.0 meter. Texas flat-land thermals will be the source of lift. Jeff B

Hi Jeff

Both planes u listed are high performance planes. Never than less the ASH has flaps and will give u the posibility to change the wing profile by droping down the flaps and airlerons about 1 to 3 degrees. This setting will give u a better performance when flying slow in a thermo.

The DG is a exelent plane but it needs spedd to perform really well and I would not recomend as a first scale ship.

I would go with the ASH. But If u really want a scale thermo sniffer I would go with a KA6 or a ASK 18 both are niche looking planes and both have treiffic thermaling cababilities.

Saludos

Jeff
The LET 5.533mDG-1000 thermals very well and is one of the best made RTF scale planes.
At 2500' still nicely visable.
