Hey all,
I'm pretty new to the RC heli scene and just wanted a few tips.
I recently picked up a Blade mSR and I am loving it! After a few bounces of the walls and getting it trimmed out well, i'm now flying (slowly) around the house with confidence and with that I already can't wait to step up to something bigger!
Warmer weather is just around the corner and here in the next month or so, I am thinking of getting a 120 SR to fly outside on a calm day. If I end up flying as much as I think I will this year I would then like to take the next step and move into a CP Heli (budget and confidence pending).
The main two I have been looking at is the Blade SR and the CP Pro 2. My local hobby shop stocks mainly E flite so thats why i'd like to stick to the brand for quicker parts replacement.
I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on if i have planned out my skill progression in line with what I should be flying and also if you have any suggestions on any other heli models let me know!
Thanks!
Dustin M.

I'd go with the SR . I tried the cp pro when I first started flying ..........it was too much for me. Your learning curve may be above mine. JMO Get a sim if you don't already have one!

Thanks I will be looking into getting a good sim!
Now that i've been looking around I was wondering If it would be worth getting into something with a belt driven tail rotor instead of a direct drive. I was reading that that (and please correct me if i'm wrong) tail motors have a tendancy to not be able to counter the main rotor torque as smoothly as a belted tail. I do understand that the belted CPs' are a little it more cash but would it be worth it in the long run? I appreciate the input!
